Apple is holding its Annual World Wide Developers Conference June 6 through June 10 at San Francisco’s Moscone West and will “unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS”. It seems that Apple will not give an April preview of iOS 5 which was usually given for major iOS released. iOS 4.3.1 was already jailbroken with PwnageTool bundles on iPhone 4/3GS, iPad, iPod Touch. This tethered jailbreak is only available for Mac users and Windows users can’t get benefit from it. Apple has released iOS 4.3.1 update for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices which improves battery life and fixes some bugs. Earlier iPhone 4 was jailbroken on iOS 4.3.1 and now iPad 4.3.1 has also been jailbroken. The major downside of this tethered jailbreak is that you have to connect with system on every reboot if you want a jailbreak again.

As usual, tethered jailbreak for the recent release of iOS 4.3.1 is available on iPhone 4. This tethered jailbreak for other devices like iPad, iPhone 3GS, and iPod Touch will be available soon. The major downside of tethered jailbreak is that you have to connect with system on every reboot if you want a jailbreak again. There may be also incompatibly issues with some apps.

We already knew that iOS 4.3.1 is coming. It was presumed to fix Safari bug which was used to hack iPhone 4 at Pwn2Own. Now, BGR is reporting that Apple is working on iOS 4.3.1 release and will be released within 1-2 weeks. Usually, a fix for security hole comes fast but Apple is also bringing some other fix.
