It has been speculated after The Daily launch that Apple would likely release iOS 4.3 for public within two weeks to support in app-purchase. There is also another factor which will push Apple to release iOS 4.3 as soon as possible. This factor will be personal hotspot feature support on AT&T network. Verizon iPhone 4 is expected to ship with this feature by default.
MAC Stories’s reliable source is indicating release of iOS 4.3 on 14th February at 10AM. Apple has already released beta 1, beta 2, and beta 3 of iOS 4.3 to developers. In next week, Apple may release iOS 4.3 GM seed and following week will bring iOS 4.3 public release.
It would be an interesting event for jailbreak community as there are many kernel vulnerabilities out there to Jailbreak 4.3. iOS 4.3 beta release are already jailbroken on iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. There is an untethered 4.3 jailbreak due from @comex while GeoHot might also release Limera1n 4.3/RC2. Chronic Dev team is also holding some vulnerabilities. Let’s see who strikes first.
