The myth is revolving around SHAtter which was found and exploited by pod2g and p0sixninja. SHAtter exploit only exists in new generation devices which are iPhone 4, iPad, and iPod Touch 4G. Before release of Greenpois0n, SHAtter based tool, GeoHot broke his silence and came back with Limera1n for last time. Chronic Dev team decided to hold SHAtter for next generation devices like iPhone 4 re-spin/ iPhone 5/ iPad 2.
SHAtter was also leaked just after release of Limera1n but the leak was contained. However, a version of SHAtter emerged once again some days ago but it couldn’t be compiled. Therefore, it was reported to be preserved. Last night, some drama happened about the possible leaker. p0sixninja blamed musclenerd for releasing the version. Musclenerd denied it and some disturbing discussion went on

However, @comex’s tweet brings some hope as he threated both parties about reveal of REAL SHATTER to Steve Jobs through email. It means that SHAtter is still preserved
