We told you that ih8sn0w is working on Sn0wbreeze 2.1 after release of PwnageTool 4.1 which is also known as “WinPwnage”. No doubt, it has been delayed a bit but eventually it will be worthy for jailbreakers. Sn0wbreeze will create custom firmware for iPhone and iPod Touch running iOS 4.1 which can be restored to prevent baseband upgrade in case of iPhone. This prevention eventually enables iPhone unlockers to use current ultrasn0w.
On the course of Sn0wbreeze 2.1 development, ih8sn0w has played with iOS 4.2 whose current version is Beta 3. He has managed to jailbreak iPad 4.2 using the Limera1n Exploit and userland vulnerability by @comex. Despite the fact that he is able to jailbreak iPad 4.2 for now, the final release of iOS 4.2 will surely patch the untethered userland bug.
