Limera1n has finally surfaced although it is a beta release and known to have some bugs. The new bootrom exploit has been integrated in Limera1n. With this exploit, Hackers can bake jailbreak tools for iPhone, iPad, and iPad endlessly until Apple disrupts by amending the bootrom which will take in months. Limera1n can jailbreak iOS 4.1 to downward iOS 4.0 on any iDevice while iOS 3.2.2 on iPad. iPhone 4 3GS [New Bootrom] and iPod Touch 4G 3G institute “Any iDevice”.

We are providing a tutorial for users to Jailbreak iPad 3.2.2 with Limera1n.
Note: Before proceeding to jailbreak iPad 3.2.2 with Limera1n, back up all you important data by synching iPad with iTunes.
Function 1:Your iPad must be running on official iOS 3.2.2.
Function 2: Download Limera1n Jailbreak required for your computer as it is compatible both with Windows and Mac.
Function 3: Connect iPad to system. Run Limera1n and make a click on “Make It Ra1n”.
Function 4: You should be asked to connect iPad in DFU mode. Follow other instruction as well.
Function 5: Take it easy and let the Limera1n do its operation till it flaunts a message like Done.
You are done with iPad untethered Jailbreak on iOS 3.2.2. Don’t forget to save your SHSH Blobs for future downgrade. Other Guides are being tried.

- I ran limera1n on parallel's desktop, and installed a 'fresh' itunes10 in windows as well
Device connected, DFU shown, itunes wants to check@apple … (left it there)
I see limera1n continue and report 'done' (succesful JB)
Next, itunes wants to backup/sync … and wants to re-authenticate be at appstore (due to original mac-itunes install ?)

It worked well on 3gs 4.1, however on Ipad 64gb wifi, 3.2.2, ran successfully but after all dfu mode and reboot , no Limera1n logo to run, so its not meant for Ipad 3.2.2, but does not brick you ipad, so you guys too may try if you want to give it a shot.

you have to restart your ipad, and then the limera1n app will appear at the springboard
Ipad 3G 16 Gb 3.2.2 (7B500), procedure reports DONE but no alimera application present after reboot. I know that jailbreak is a "nice to have" and no more, but who is the guy that claim "successful" and WHY?????
Was able to jailbreak my ipad 3.2.2 successfully. I started limera1n app BUT i don’t see the CYDIA installer under “Please select package(s)”…
All i receive after a few seconds of “Loading…” is an error message about my internet connection.. But my internet is working just fine coz i tested it and i am able to visit the websites thru my ipad web browser.
Same here – reports "Done" but no limera1n icon after the JB attempt. The device is configured for development if that matters at all.

no limera1n icon after jailbreak even after a hard reboot. limera1n says its done but nothing shows on my screen to indicate success.

YES YES, succesful on my iPad 3.2.2 when having iTunes 9.1.1.12 active and at a point where it needs a response in one of its popup screens (yes/no/cancel).
In that condition I got my icons… (See also my comment at the GreenPoison alternative)
