Finally, iPhone Dev Team has update their redsn0w tool to jailbreak 4.1 iOS on iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G. The already available release worked for iOS 4.1 Beta only. It was released just before sn0wbreeze 2.0 is arriving as well. The current version of redsn0w is 0.9.6 b1. Redsn0w 0.9.6 B1 has been released for MAC only and a Windows version is expected soon has been released.
We’ve released a beta version of redsn0w for the iPhone3G and iPod Touch 2G at FW 4.1 or 4.0. It uses the same pwnage2 DFU-mode exploit that we’ve been using since the 2.x days. It does not include the SHAtter exploit developed by pod2g. Nothing new is revealed to Apple with this jailbreak.
We have posted guides to Jailbreak iPhone 3G 4.1 and Jailbreak iPod Touch 4.1. All other users need to wait for Greenpois0n.

whenever i finish useing the new windows one on my ipod touch 2g with 4.1 software, it does everything and and i think im doing it right but it just sits their when it says waiting for reboot. anyone have any tips? or possabaly another program thats better?
will this software slow down my computer once i download it?
