It was all evident that Greenpois0n will be the first tool to incorporate SHAtter exploit, a new bootrom exploit which can jailbreak iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G, and iPad forever until Apple fixes it by modifying the bootrom in next hardware cycle. The estimated time to bring this hardware change is about 6 Months to one year.

The reason to be sure about Greenspois0n was as SHAtter exploit has been discovered by Chronic Dev Team which means that it is their right to release first jailbreak tool based on this exploit. Greenpois0n was announced by Chronic Dev Team earlier this year to jailbreak iPad but it never got a release. The time to release Greenpois0n has arrived and it is going to be a jailbreak tool for iPhone 4 3GS, iPod Touch 4G 3G, and iPad. These iDevices contains new bootrom and cannot be jailbroken with old Pwned4Life exploits.
@Pod2g, the member of Chronic Dev Team has confirmed that Greenpois0n is a go in some time as it has been tested to jailbreak iPhone 4.

my sister ordered 3 (one for me and the other 2 for her and her husband) the iphone 4 simfree from England wich activates and unlockes on any sim card and can never ever get locked be looked and i also got a sim cutter that looks like a stapler and it cuts any sim to fit the iphone 4 true it cost more but i use those recargable sims so no contructs for me and belive me when you get an i phone from AT$T they get you for the difference that it cost to buy a simfree iphone4 with their 3 year expensive plane

That is not the wait for greenpois0n that's how long apple might take to update it's hardware on the iPhone 4 or mabey even iPhone 5 by then but this is very unlikely
Apple's interest is to unlock everybody's pocket not the iPhone
By the way, to Greatideas: the 6 months to one year is for Apple to fix the hardware bug. Not the waiting time for GreenPois0n.

All those still waiting, well the latest jailbreak came out today. called limera1n it jailbroke my iphone 4 with the 4.1 software, it was easy to do and it worked.
