The recent days turn out to be a Feast for Android Handset owners who want more freedom by rooting the device. Recently. Droid 2 Root was accomplished which turned out to be also working if anyone wants to Root Droid X 2.2. Now, EVO 4G has been rooted running on A.droid 2.2 Froyo. Your unrooted EVO 4G should be able to get the charm again.
This root is pretty much similar to Droid 2 Root and it looks like that Root is achiveved by downgrading EVO to 2.1 and then flashing unrevoked. This is pretty fresh and complex but a one click app to root EVO 4G along with other devices running on Android 2.2 Froyo should be on the way soon.
