Apple holds a special event focusing on its music products which obviously is iPod Lineup. This product category includes iPod Touch, iPod Classic, iPod Nano, and iPod Shuffle. This platform is used by Apple to announce new features being introduced to iPods and iTunes. This year, music focused Apple Event will be held on 1st September 2010.
In 2009, this Apple Event or Apple Keynote was named “Rock and Roll”. Last year, Steve Jobs announced iPod Touch 3rd Generation, iPod Nano 5th Generation, and multi color iPod Shuffle. What is under Jobs’s Sleeves this year for music and entertainment enthusiasts? The rumors about a revamped iPod Touch which will be including Retina Display and Front Facing camera to support FaceTime will likely become reality. This iPod Touch will be the 4th generation of the device and probably be named as iPod Touch 4G. Other flavors of iPod Touch may also be tinged.
Besides music, this Apple Keynote September 2010 will also be focusing on TV. It has been also reported that Apple TV will be revivified to include Cloud Storage, iOS. It may be named as iTV.
More features will also be included in iTunes along with rumored 99 Cent TV shows rentals.
Apple will also reveal iOS 4.1 which is a major iOS upgrade since iOS4 and promises to improve iOS 4.x‘s performance on iPhone 3G.
Last but not least, Apple may surprise iPad users with iOS4 which will bring multitasking to iPad.
