JailbreakMe has pushed Apple to release iOS 3.2.2 to fix the vulnerability used by the tool to Jailbreak iPad 3.2.1. This vulnerability is now fixed. The question arises will it be still possible to jailbreak iPad 3.2.2 with updated JailbreakMe or some new tool.

We have dissected the same situation for Jailbreak 4.0.2 and earlier for JailbreakMe 4.1. We concluded that comex have found a bug which will be revealed after iOS 4.1 is released along with iOS4 for iPad. This bug may work like JailbreakMe or it may be released as Spirit Jailbreak 4.1 but it is unclear. It is also possible that we get a new tool to Jailbreak iPad 3.2.2.
Update: iPad 3.2.2 Jailbreak has been confirmed. It will be a part of upcoming jailbreak tool named as Greenpois0n

i need the jailbreak for 3.2.2 bc i upgraded to that after i thought my ipad was broke. now i cant get it jailbroken angain, can anyone help me plz.

stupidly enough, i did the same! i updated my ipad to 3.2.2 and since then i lost all the fun that i used to have. please if you hear about a new jailbreak software, let us know.

I think that is absolutly stupit. I refrashed my ipad, and i hoped that i have the old version on my ipad after it.But it happend nothing.All my apps were gun, and i don't can sync it with itunes. It always is standing on my desktop: This computer is not active for this ipade. And if I active it, it is standing the computer was succesfully actived. And then it is again standing that something is wrong. What can i do?

Just decided to jailbreak but now I can't because I recently updated to iOS 3.2.2 :'( *sigh*, just gotta wait, all I can do at the moment…
there are a lot of ways to downgrade to earlier firmware versions. search for them, but may require some technical savvieness.
Unfourtently none of them work for newer iPads that came with 3.2.2 preinstalled.
Well….I've actually updated to 3.2.2, but its not a big deal for me atm
because I have really no idea how to use Cydia xD
I too am eagerly awaiting for the jailbreak for ipad 3.2.2 to come out.
The limits in version 3.2.2 are just too much for my tolerance levels.
What gets on my nerves the most is that Apple knows that everyone wants to jailbreak their ipads,
and they know that the government made it legal, yet, they maintain a resistance about it.
Why not just give us what we want, a wide open ipad, hell, we paid a lot for it, and it's still not quite ours yet.
Does it really surprise you that Apple would want to prevent a method that potentially allows you to install pirated applications?
Eagerly awaiting a jailbreak for the 3.2.2 as well.
What shits me is that I'm a PC/Android guy and had to reluctantly buy an Ipad for work purposes, therefore I was willing to drop all my bad experiences and give it a go. I was firstly very impressed, but as time goes on, I am increasingly frustrated.
- Went to 5 stores to find a VGA converter, all sold out, went to major apple store in Sydney, had to wait 30mins, and purchase one for $40. That's right, $40!!! for an adapter which should cost no more than $10, or come free.
- Find out I'm unable to mirror my presentation on VGA ouput, unless i jailbreak it.
- My 3.2.2 has not got a jailbreak available atm.
- Can't downgrade atm.
- Obviously unable to run my flash presentation – unless I jailbreak.
What a mountain of mess. FFS apple, Function over Form please.

Only way to jailbreak ur 3.2.2 is to wait till the next firmware update or downgrade. Sucks but it's true…I've just bought my iPad with 3.2.2 and I'm sad.
