The first ever soft iPhone 4 unlock solution has been released as ultrasn0w 1.0-1 . It was expected to be released today as iPhone Dev Team assured the release time to be 48 hours after JailbreakMe. iPhone 4 Unlock was first demonstrated by planetbeing and it was anticipated to be released after iPhone 4 Jailbreak is out.
Before proceeding with iPhone 4 unlock with ultrasn0w 1.0-1, you must Jailbreak iPhone 4. One it is done, follow these steps and iPhone 4 will be unlocked.
Function 1: Run Cydia on a jailbroken iPhone 4 and navigate to “Manage” tab at bottom.
Function 2: Hit “Edit” and then “Add”. You will be prompted to input a URL for repository source. Enter “repo666.ultrasn0w.com”. Remember “0“ in ultrasn0w is “Zero” not English Letter “O”.
Function 3: After Cydia has update the resources, search “ultrasn0w 1.0-1” in Cydia and install the app. The latest version is ultrasn0w 1.0-1.
Function 4: Restart and iPhone 4 unlock is accomplished. You are ready to use your unlocked iPhone 4 on any GSM carrier around the world.
If you are a 3GS user, you can jailbreak iPhone 3GS 4.0 4.0.1 and then unlock iPhone 3GS as well.

You don't need to add the repo – ultrasn0w is there on jailbroken iPhone 4 Cydia lists if you've let it update it's database and applied all waiting updates.
wtf? repo666.ultrasn0w 1.0-1.com is not a valid URL. URLs do not have spaces. do we take the spaces out?? wtf is with this ridiculous URL?! 0-1.com? this is fucking stupid for people to have to type in. Can they not just register ultrasn0w.com, and have the repo be "repo.ultrasn0w.com"? or some such?!
