iOS4.1 Beta was released to developers for evaluation purposes of the signal bars calculation fix. The issue should have been fixed with iOS4.1 release if Apple was right that it is a software issue rather than antenna malfunction. After release of iOS4.1, we have discussed that pursuit for jailbreak 4.1 and unlock iPhone 4.1 has begun.

Again, iPhone Dev Team has strike and redsn0w 0.9.5 beta5 which was available earlier can perform iOS4.1 jailbreak on iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G. There are no major change in iOS4.1 for jailbreak community although we have still no update regarding unlock.

Finally, if you have iPhone 3G or iPod Touch 2G [Non MC Model] then you  are lucky enough to execute iOS4.1 jailbreak using redsn0w 0.9.5. The guide to do the task have been already written for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G which can be followed to execute iOS4.1 jailbreak.

We should soon expect Spirit Jailbreak 4.1 after iOS4.1 public release is avaiable.

Hi guys

I had the same problem before and I struggled for almost a month but after knowing that it is a very silly mistake that the .ipsw file is not the correct one so try to again download the ios4 without any downloading errors and then try

It worked for me and may b for you also
