After release of iOS4.1 Beta, the quest to accomplish 4.1 jailbreak has begun. As there is no publicly released exploit for new bootrom used in iPhone 4 3GS and iPod Touch 3G 2G [MC Models] therefore we have to wait for Spirit 4.1 Jailbreak. It is going to be a userland jailbreak which has been found by @comex.
iPhone Dev Team is currently investigating iOS4.1 regarding 4.1 jailbreak and unlock iPhone 4.1. They will soon update us about the developments and probably update redsn0w to enable 4.1 jailbreak on iPhone 3GS [Old Bootrom] and iPhone 3G. We will keep you informed as soon as any progress is made on 4.1 jailbreak for iPhone 4 3GS and 3G along with iPod Touch 3G 2G.

When u find success jailbreaking ur iPod/ iPhone email me so I can jailbreak 2!!!!!
