There’s much speculation in regards to the release of Spirits latest. I’m curious to how you came to the assumption that it will be released very shortly. If this is fact me and millions of others will be ecstatic and over the moon that our devices will yet again feel the freedom of the un-restricted Apple platform, I miss my Cydia.
If you could shed some light on how you’re aware of its potential release I would be very grateful.

yah see, ur comments says 2 weeks ago and i just checked for updates, no dice so stop speculating, itll be out when its out, and so will spirit 4.0 which shud be the answer to 90% of the peoples jailbreaking problems
Im definitely interested to see how this is coming along now. I have yet to update my phone to the new version as I am waiting for Spirit to update but I do need to do this soon. Other apps are suffering.
Has there been an update from Spirit as to when this will be released?

so i hope spirit makes a jail brake for 4.0 soon

no not yet i am saying this on the 23rd july. i have a ipod touch 2g mc model on 4.0 and my computer wont do any of the jailbreaks except the 1 click ones like blackra1n and spirit, and it wont downgrade my firmware, so im stuck till spirit like tool comes out.

Just wondering if anyone can help me out….. I have an IPhone 3GS 16GB MC132b model with the 4.0 firmware. It’s locked to Vodafone but I wanna unlock it so it wud be sim free. Any idea’s how I can go about unlocking it?????
If you were previously jailbroke and used blackra1n to do so AND saved your SHSH blobs with Cydia or the RockApp for 3.1.2 AND have the old bootrom you can restore to 3.1.2 and THEN use SnowBREEZE to create a custom 4.0 firmware with Cydia THEN install UltraSN0W from Cydia and BOOYA! you'd be unlocked on 4.0.
This is only if your an intermediate user AT LEAST and have a decent knowledge of how to edit your host file to connect to Saurik's server when iTunes reaches out for gs.apple.com.

I believe the hacking community are beaten with the 3Gs with the latest baseband and if like me your iphone is now an ipod its forget apple go and buy the blackberry bold I did it’s a great phone – but I’d still like to have my iphone working
All I read is there is a hint of a jailbreak but it doesn’t seem to happen because Spirit and Blackrain and all the rest are beaten Apple might have lost a few battles but now they are winning the war Best thing to do is don’t buy products that tie you to a single carrier its wrong
people 4.0.1 is already out I heard that they are waiting for more people to receive their iPhone 4 before the release it;(
