Apple has always been putting some restrictions on use of its gadgets and related platforms. iPhone, the most popular gadget of Apple is officially available to operate exclusively on AT&T network. Similar is not the case with the newly released Device called iPad as it belongs to a different category of devices. Apple’s regulations for getting application approved for AppStore has been always controversial. The need to run cool applications which are not approved by Apple had risen since the release of iPhone. The hackers managed to run these 3rd party applications by jailbreaking. Now the same holds true for iPad and users should not be deprived from running those awesome applications on iPad like Google Voice and Winterboard.
Need for Flash:
Steve Jobs and his team have always taken an aggressive stand against use of Flash. They have got their own reasons for the stance. On the other side, a majority of users want to use Flash. The infamous team made it again and they are the first one to get success. The exploit jailbreaks iPad running on iPhone OS 3.1.3. “Spirit” has not been released because it is being expected that a new iPhone firmware is on the way with release of iPad 3G and Apple will patch the current loophole being exploited by iPhone Dev Team.

The legendary hacker who was first to hack iPhone has managed to jailbreak iPad as well. He has posted a picture on his blog which displays Cydia running on iPad. No official working tool has been released but it is expected soon.

p0sixninja who is member of Chronic Dev Team claims that they have found a working exploit to jailbreak iPadon iPhone OS 3.2 but they are waiting for an iPad to test it. The tool “GreenPois0n” will also be able to jailbreak iPhone and iPod touch as well.
The saga of Apple and Hackers continues and we should expect the release of jailbreaking tools as soon as iPad 3G arrives with or without an update firmware.
Update: Greenpois0n has been confirmed to get released as it will jailbreak iPad 3.2.2. There is no release date of Greenpois0n Download but there will be a Greenpois0n 4.2 as well.
