Online users are getting more social after the emergence of popular Web2.0 social applications. Among those applications, Facebook is the most famous and the growth is still on the rise. Many users browse their profiles at some specific time and perform their social activity. On the other side, social addicts may want to remain updated about what is happening in their vicinity and provide their inputs and update as well. Such users need some specific utility to accomplish their needs.
In order to fulfill the above requirements, there are many utilities available in form of browser’s add-ons/plugins/extensions or userscripts. We will review here Chrome extensions which will let a user deal and manage Facebook profiles in an efficient manner and boost their social experience.

Facebook
Title says it all. If not convinced, try it. Facebook is packed in a single extension. By default, it shows you the mobile interface of Facebook but you can switch to full web interface if required. The user can access any feature from Facebook profile like feed, friends, notification, inbox, and chat. This is the only Chrome extension which supports Facebook chat. So, I consider it the best and complete Facebook extension for Chrome.
Facebook To-Go with Instant Notifications
This is pretty much similar to the earlier extension. It presents you the mobile interface of Facebook. The Chat feature is also available but it actually uses the pop out chat window feature of Facebook’s webpage and the user can not use it in the frame of extension. Whenever there is an update, the counter in extension’s icon gets incremented. There are some choices available at the bottom like Widen the Pop Up, Detach, and options. In options, you can remove these buttons if you don’t like them. Widening the pop-up fine-tunes the width and the text along with whole interface gets more neat and clean.
Facebook Notifications
If you only need to be aware of the updates and prefer to execute a response in actual Facebook’s profile page, this extension will do the task to notify you of any updates.
There are some problems as well. I am not confident whether they are in mobile Facebook or extensions or Chrome. I was not successful in adding/deleting friends and deleting messages inbox. It can be deduced despite Chrome’s extensions are young but those related to Facebook are pretty much satisfying.
